Poople Launch: A Free Daily Word Ladder Game

The first release of Poople, a free daily word ladder game where you change a 4-letter word into POOP one letter at a time, keeping a valid word at every step, in as few moves as possible.

  • Daily word ladder puzzle, with one shared starting word for every player that refreshes every day at midnight UTC
  • Spoiler-free result sharing: copy a small grid that shows your path without revealing the words you used
  • Streaks and stats, including wins, current streak, best streak, and average steps, all saved locally in your own browser
  • Dictionary of more than 2,300 valid 4-letter words, all reachable from POOP, with par scoring that rewards shorter solutions
  • Keyboard and touch friendly, with light and dark themes, and no account or app needed to play

Frequently Asked Questions About Poople Updates

A new puzzle goes live every day at midnight UTC, so there is always something fresh to play. We also ship improvements to the game itself from time to time, and we document the notable changes here on this changelog page. Check back to stay up to date with the latest Poople improvements.

Poople follows Semantic Versioning (semver) with the format vMajor.Minor.BugFix. Major versions (for example v2.0.0) mark large changes to how the game works. Minor versions (for example v1.1.0) introduce new features such as a practice mode or new statistics. Bug fix versions (for example v1.0.1) address specific issues and improve stability without changing how the game plays.

This changelog page is the single source of truth for Poople product updates. Each entry includes the version number, release date, and a summary of what changed. If you have an idea or spot a problem, you can send it to us through our support page, and your feedback helps shape what we build next.
